• Open the floor for public comment, with each speaker limited to three minutes. (item III) Residents may address the board on any topic during this period.

• Approve a bid award for prescribed burns at seven forest preserves. (item IV-1) The district would contract out controlled burning work across seven preserves to manage vegetation and ecosystem health.

• Authorize a bid award for purchasing native seed to restore lands at various forest preserves. (item IV-2) The district would procure native seed stock to support land restoration efforts at multiple preserves.

• Approve a bid award for resurfacing cart paths along holes 10–18 at Hughes Creek Golf Club in Elburn, IL. (item IV-3) The district would hire a contractor to repave golf cart paths on the back nine at its Hughes Creek Golf Club facility.

• Authorize support for an Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program (ITEP) grant application for bicycle and pedestrian improvements at the Red Gate Road Pedestrian Bridge within Fox River Bluff Forest Preserve. (item V-1) Board endorsement of this grant application would position the district to receive state transportation funding for non-motorized trail and bridge improvements.

• Authorize a bid award for Phase 1 construction of the Fox River Trail Path Improvements project. (item V-2) The district would select a contractor to begin the first phase of trail path improvements along the Fox River Trail.

• Convene in closed session to discuss land acquisition, license agreements, potential litigation, and personnel matters. (item VI) The board will move behind closed doors to address confidential topics including possible land purchases, legal matters, and staffing.
